Vibrolink - FAQ Print

How is the Vibrolink installed?

The robust die-cast aluminium enclosure is designed to allow the Vibrolink to be installed in virtually any position by securing it to the equipment with the screws supplied.
The Vibrolink can be configured to operate either from its internal rechargeable batteries, or from the equipments own power supply (8 to 50V).

How is the Data stored?

A two directional accelerometer provides the information that is stored using Flash Memory Technology. The Vibrolink has the capacity to store around 4 months of information, depending upon usage patterns.

How is the Data accessed?

Data in the Vibrolink is accessed by transferring it to a PC using the optional Download Smart Module (DSM). To download the data insert the DSM into the communications port on the Vibrolink. The data is automatically transferred to the DSM. The data is then transferred to the PC, via a DSM Interface, using the Vibrolink Software provided. While the Vibrolink can store around 4 months of information, more frequent downloading is recommended.
