Installation

Is the Ticketlink portable?
Yes the Ticketlink is portable. It can be permanently fixed to a bracket and left in the bus or it can be fitted to a removable bracket so it can be removed when the shift has ended.

What voltage does the Ticketlink require?
The Ticketlink can be operated using 12 or 24 Volts. This should be specified when the Ticketlink is purchased.

Who supplies the Ticketlink installation bracket ?
The Customer can make their own bracket or it can be purchased from Circuitlink International or from an authorized dealer.

Who can install the Ticketlink?
The Ticketlink is supplied in a kit form so the bus operator can install the unit or it can be fitted by Circuitlink International or an authorized
dealer.

How long does the installation of the Ticketlink take?
The installation of the Ticketlink together with the PC software should not take longer than one hour.


Programming

Who can program the Ticketlink?
The customer can program the Ticketlink for their setup using the PC software supplied with the unit. Alternatively it can be programmed by Circuitlink International or an authorized dealer.

How many Routes can be programmed into the Ticketlink?
You can program up to 20 Routes in the Ticketlink.

How many Sections can be programmed into the Ticketlink?
You can program up to 20 Section per route in the Ticketlink.

Can section names be programmed into the Ticketlink?
Yes you can program section names or numbers into the Ticketlink.

Can the Ticketlink be programmed in different languages?
Yes the Ticketlink can be programmed in different languages.

What do you need to program the Ticketlink?
You need to have a PC with a serial port available and the PC software supplied by Circuitlink International.

How can I program the Driver Identification?
The Driver identification can be programmed using the PC software supplied, connecting the Ticketlink and PC through the serial port.

Can The Operator change the Routes Fares?
Yes the operator can change the fares of each of the routes.


The Unit

What type of the Keyboard does the Ticketlink have?
A membrane Keyboard incorporating an LED.

What is the life of this membrane?
The membrane is guaranteed for 50000 actions

Is the keyboard easy to replace?
The Keyboard can be replaced by the operator, Circuitlink International
Service personnel or by any authorized Dealer.

What type of LCD does the Ticketlink have?
A 2 line by 16 character back lit LCD.

How many Communications Ports does the Ticketlink have?
The Ticketlink has 4 communications ports.

Can I count people with the Ticketlink?
Yes. Ticketlink has two digital counters that are specially designed for people counting.

Can the Ticketlink be tampered with?
Is will be very different to tamper with the Ticketlink because all the data is stored in indestructible form.

Is the PC Software supplied in the package?

Yes the PC Software to generate the reports is supplied with the Ticketlink.

What is the PC software based on?
The PC software is based in Microsoft Access.

Can the operator produce they own reports?
Yes the operators can produce their own reports using Microsoft Access.

Are the reports easy to understand?
Yes the reports are very easy to understand.

Can the operator change the reports?
Yes the operator can change the reports.

Can the operator set-up messages on the tickets?
Yes you can program your own messages on the printed ticket.

Can the operator display logos on the printed ticket?
Yes.

Can the driver tamper with the Ticketlink?
No.

How does the Ticketlink print a report?
The Ticketlink can print reports direct to a Printer, or Download the data to a DSM (Download Smart Module), or by cable direct to a PC.
